On Muhammad Ashraf Haziq

I'm sure most of you have read about Muhammad Ashraf Haziq, Malaysian student in UK who experienced terrifying ordeal while on his way looking for food for iftar. Poor Muhammad Ashraf Haziq only arrived in UK a month ago, suffered broken jaw and lost some of his front teeth due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The video footage of Ashraf's ordeal has been viewed around the world after being posted on YouTube.

Anyway, Alhamdulillah, his broken jaw surgery had been successful and now he is in a stable condition.

To Adik Muhammad Ashraf Haziq, hang in there and hope you'll be back on your feet again soon, Insyaallah.

I love wearing abaya and I'm talking about black abaya from The Middle East especially Saudi and Dubai. You should look for high quality materials such as fursan, nida, internet crepe and Korean crepe; comes in different type of design either front open abaya, front close abaya or side open abaya and go for A line cutting abaya coz you will look utterly gorgeous.

Recently, while I was away; my youngest posed a question to her ayah, brother and sister while ayah was driving.

I.M : Siapakah dia, sewaktu kecil berjalan guna 4 kaki, bila besar guna 2 kaki dan kemudian guna 3 kaki ?
Ayah : ?!¥£€%#
I.M : Bukan
H.S : Bla..bla..bla
I.M : Bukan
I.A : hmmm
I.M : Give up !!!

Then, everybody said yes.

Senang aje, jawapannya Wan lah !!! She refers to my mother coz mak I guna tongkat bila berjalan. Anyway, she is my mom's beloved cucu coz if I scold her, my mom will scold me back and my husband will laugh at me. Memang itu budak punya lesen sangat besar if Wan is around, not forgetting her sister and brother. Memang tak boleh marah dia orang depan mak I. Nak gelak pun ada, in fact ada masa I purposely/pura-pura marah dia orang, tiba-tiba akan ada satu suara muncul mem"back-up" mereka. Bila suara itu muncul tu yang buat I dan husband tersenyum sebab memang expect pun. I am no more her youngest and manja daughter. Ha ! Ha ! Ha !

Nisfu Syaaban

Salam semua !!!

Sesi muhasabah dan mengingati diri sendiri.

Kini kita berada di pertengahan Syaaban dan Insyaallah, Ramadan bakal tiba dalam masa 2 minggu lagi. Bulan Syaaban adalah bulan kedua selepas Rejab, bulan yang penuh keberkatan dan disusuli pula dengan bulan Ramadan.

Dari Abi Hurairah ra, Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda maksudnya : "Telah datang Jibril as pada malam Nisfu Syaaban dan dia berkata, Ya Muhammad, pada malam ini pintu-pintu langit dan pintu-pintu rahmat dibuka, maka berdirilah dan kerjakan sembahyang lalu angkatlah kepalamu dan kedua tanganmu ke langit!" Kata saya (Nabi Muhammad SAW): "Hai Jibril, apakah erti malam ini ?" Dia (Jibril) menjawab: "Pada malam ini telah dibuka 300 pintu rahmat, maka Allah telah mengampuni orang-orang yang tidak mensyirikkan Allah dengan sesuatu kecuali ahli sihir, bomoh hitam, orang-orang yang suka permusuhan/pergaduhan, peminum arak, orang-orang yang berbuat zina, pemakan riba, orang-orang yang derhaka kepada kedua orang tua, orang-orang yang suka mengadu domba (batu api) dan orang-orang yang memutuskan tali persaudaraan, maka sesungguhnya mereka itu tidak akan diampuni kesalahannya sehingga mereka mahu bertaubat dan tidak akan mengulang lagi atas perbuatannya itu."

Maka pergilah Nabi Muhammad SAW untuk mengerjakan sembahyang serta menangis di dalam sujudnya dengan membaca: "Ya Allah sesungguhnya aku berlindung kepadaMu dari seksaMu dan murka Mu dan aku tidak menghitung-hitung pujian kepadaMu, sebagaimana Engkau memuji kepadaMu sendiri, maka segala puji bagiMu sehingga Engkau redha."

I still remember when I first set my eyes on him was like long time ago when he made his first series appearance in 21 Jump Street. Ever since that he never fails to stun me and I believe the rest of his fans with his versatile character. Lama tak update blog ni sebab kesibukan tahap maksimum; bercuti, outstation bla..bla..

Anyway, just came back from Ho Chi Minh. Went to Ben Thanh market, Masyaallah ramai giler rakyat Malaysia bershopping kat sana. Yang I terkilan tu, pant suit untuk kerja with cashmere material only 80 USD per pair, price inclusive of material and workmanship. Their workmanship, Wow !!!. Boleh tempah and in 2 days time boleh siap. Murah giler. Memandangkan my schedule really tight, just bought the material and during that time I did not even bother until a friend told me about it.

After coming back, just wanna check on the price here in Malaysia so I made a visit to Tum Tailor BBBangi. I was so shocked when they told me that the price inclusive of material and workmanship is almost RM1000. No doubt their workmanship is superb but price wise, I rasa rugi siotttt ... Kenapalah I tak tempah kat sana.

Sekarang I tengah cari tailor yang boleh buat pant suit dengan harga yang berpatutan dan kualiti yang more or less fulfil my satisfaction.

Ada sesiapa boleh cadangkan ???

Ipad2 Obsessive Disorder

BEIJING - Empat orang cedera apabila berlaku satu rusuhan semasa sejumlah pelanggan berbaris untuk membeli komputer tablet iPad 2 di luar sebuah kedai di sini.

Kejadian yang berlaku pada Sabtu lalu di kawasan Sanlitun itu bermula apabila seorang kakitangan kedai menjual iPad menumbuk seorang pelanggan yang memotong barisan.

Ekoran kejadian itu beberapa pelanggan lain memecahkan pintu kaca di kedai berkenaan.

Menurut beberapa saksi, botol-botol air dibaling semasa rusuhan itu berlaku.

Empat orang yang cedera itu dirawat di sebuah hospital dan polis mengambil keterangan mereka.

Seorang jurucakap syarikat Apple yang mengeluarkan iPad di China, Carolyn Wu berkata, kedai itu ditutup selama beberapa jam pada Sabtu lalu selepas kekacauan di luar kedai berkenaan tidak dapat dikawal.

Let us continue with Bandung.

Am not going to post an essay here on what to do in Bandung coz I believe you have read everything about Bandung somewhere. However, for ladies out there Pasar Baru is a must visit. A massive clothes, ready made (wide selection of Muslimah attire) and fabric market but watch out for snatch thief. Our supir kept on reminding us to take a good care of our belongings when were there.

As for factory outlet, I would prefer and recommed Rumah Mode, Summit and Heritage. I feel comfortable and more confident with their quality and originality. Summit, they have what you call Super Grade imitation handbags. You should check out their Chanel, LV, Salvatore, Burberry. They are so high quality imitation handbags complete with boxes, dust bag and authentication card. These super grade handbags cost around RM500 - RM800 per bag.

Someone once told me that whenever you visit Indonesia, you must pay a visit to their spa. I agree with that. We went to Mariaty's Spa and pampered ourselves after a long day at Tangkuban Perahu, Ciater Hot Spring and Strawberry Farm. It was damn cheap for 2 hours treatment. After the treatment, we went straight back to the hotel and had a very good deep sleep. Super recommended and a worth visiting spa when you visit Bandung.

Next, their local delicacies. You should look for Bakso Malang (so delicious), Batagor Riri (mouthwatering when I type this), Teh Botol, Fruit Tea, Makanan Sunda, Nasi Padang (personally I prefer Nasi Padang to Makanan Sunda) and their all sorts of kerupuk. Try their kerupuk Pisang Cheese, Tempe and fuhh.. the list goes on, varieties I just can't remember.

Amanda Brownies Kukus is another oleh-oleh from Bandung that you must not forget. I just love its super moist and soft texture. They have wide range of flavour but I personally in love with the original flavour.

Alhamdulillah, we safely arrived at Bandung Sastranegara Airport at 1.20 pm local time after what we've gone through during touching down due to extreme windy condition. My second bad experience in a row after my trip to Singapore.

Queuing up for Indonesian immigration procedure is kind of new experience for us although I've gone through a very strict procedure in the US. We are required to put our right and left 4 fingers on the automatic scanner and on the spot digital photo. "Di sini, ibu menginap di mana", "Berapa hari ibu di sini" were among the information they wanted to know.

We finally made our way out and someone with my name printed on a paper waiting for us. We've got everything booked online and our supir introduced himself as Nanang.

We stayed at Unik Hotel, a budget hotel located approximately 10 minutes from the airport. I'll blog on the total cost of accommodation, transportation and contact person in another entry.

Bandung Oh Bandung !!! (1)

I'm sure Bandung is one of so much talk about among bloggers, be it as shopping paradise or food paradise and their must visit spa. My friends and I had been contemplating to visit Bandung ever since last year but to no avail until we finally made a very quick decision last month. However, at the very last minute, the plan almost cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Fortunately, despite having lots of hiccup here and there, we finally managed to board flight MH868, 31 March 2011, 12 noon to Bandung. MAS was having its offer that you can't refuse. Return air ticket to Bandung cost us only RM369 inclusive of everything.

Although I was very tired after coming back from Singapore a day earlier and a very hectic shedule for the past 4 days when I was in Singapore, the thought of going to have fun with friends has somehow, given me strength and I did even forget my tiredness.

Shopping - A good mental therapy

Do you agree with me that shopping/window shopping will make you feel happy, calm and good ?

According to researchers at the UK's Brunel University, shopping is associated with increased activity in the left prefrontal cortex, a part of the brain that has been linked to pleasure and positive thinking. In fact, levels of dopamine, a neurotransmitter released during pleasurable experiences including sex, can rise sharply even when you're merely window shopping.


However, being a Muslim, nothing compares to our solat, one of the 5 Pillars in Islam, our foundation being a Muslim . If we perform our prayer fully devoted to ALLAH, apart from increasing our faith in ALLAH, improving our mind and soul spiritually studies show that there are some implications on our physical health.

Therefore people, I remind myself and to all of you, let's improve our solat.

Need a break

Been quite busy for the past few weeks especially during UPSR and PSRA exam week, leaving this blog of mine unattended.



Its even worse when November is approaching because our office will be shifted to a new building.



Not forgetting my niece wedding is just around the corner as well.



Just can't wait our upcoming holiday in December. We've got everything booked.

After all, the best part of a holiday is perhaps not so much to be resting yourself, as to see all the other fellows busy working.

Ramadan Hampir Tiba Ke Penghujung

Alhamdulillah, Allah telah mengurniakan kita semua kesihatan yang baik untuk menunaikan ibadat di bulan yang mulia ini. Sedar tak sedar tinggal beberapa hari sahaja lagi Ramadan akan berakhir.

Marilah kita semua mengambil peluang keemasan ini untuk mempertingkatkan ibadat kita dalam beberapa hari terakhir Ramadan ini.

Firman Allah Ta'ala mengenai Malam Lailatul Qadar :

“Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkannya (Al-Quran) pada Lailatul-Qadr. Tahukah kamu apakah Lailatul Qadar? Lailatul-Qadar lebih baik dari seribu bulan.”
(Surah al-Qadr: 1-3)

Marilah kita mengambil peluang untuk memohon keredaan daripada Allah.

Diriwayatkan oleh Bukhari & Muslim dari Abu Hurairah r.a, bahawa Rasulullah S.A.W bersabda:

“Barangsiapa yang beribadah pada malam Lailatul-Qadar kerana iman dan mengharapkan keredaan ALLAH, diampunilah dosa-dosanya yang terdahulu.”

Subhanallah, Maha Suci Allah.
